This is a great side dish from the cookbook Everyday Harumi. I have 3 of her cookbooks, but haven’t been able to try too many of her recipes. It is simplistic Japanese cooking, but the flavors are great! This dish is simple, just boil up the potatoes and then dress it. It combines the all-too-addictive salty/sweet flavors for me and I have to resist just eating potatoes and nothing else. I hope to keep trying out her recipes and hopefully learning a bit more about Japanese cooking and ingredients.
